Our tennis camp is designed for junior players who play from intermediate to high performance levels. We cater for ages between 10-18 years, both boys and girls. To ensure maximum progress and compatibility, participants are divided, where possible, into groups according to approximate standard and age. During first week juniors will get used to clay court. All technical and tactical aspects will be worked on. Video analysis will be used during technical development.
During second week there are morning training sessions and a tournament for rest of the day. Tournament is national standard Grand Prix Series. Normally there are participants from other Baltic and Scandinavian countries playing in it. Juniors can play in both singles and doubles.
Each week we have coaching free day and we have what we call a ” Fun Day Activities ”. These activities include: bowling, visiting zoo, shopping, cinema, watching ATP Challenger finals or Estonian Tennis Open finals during our day trip to Tallinn. Every day is finished with the group meeting. We go over and questions that may arise during that meeting and go over plan for next day. Every day there is a ”Player Of The Day” award. It goes for the junior who was best behaved, most helpful and hardest worker. Prize for ”Player Of The Day” is tennis gear and car ride up to the courts next morning!
During the whole duration or the tennis camp including training, tournament and fun days all juniors are under 24 hour supervision. All activities are done as a group and its ensured that all juniors feel as part of a team and have fun.
